Reviews on herbal supplements and vitamins telling you whats hot and whats not
Herbal medicine has been used for hundreds if not thousands of years. Native Americans were experts in use of plants and herbs for many purposes. Using them for cooking and medicinal purposes were only two ways that they wisely used plants and other things found in nature’s bounty. They learned how to prepare these plants to make them into natural herbs that heal. This is way they kept themselves healthy and hearty. We have gotten away from using those simple things and now depend on chemicals or a pill from the doctor to instantly make us all better as soon as get we get a sniffle. It is time to get back to nature and to relearn what our ancestors knew and wisely used in order to stay healthy!
I learned many years ago while working in the health care field that medicine is not an exact science. There is much that medical doctors do not know. There are many times that they just get lucky or use people as guinea pigs for the next “greatest” pil out there for their disease or problem. Well, after suffering through a chronic illness for the past eight years, I can tell you I am a bit sick of having tried this and that only to have it cause me more problems. I have found that there are many natural herbs and vitamin supplements which help me more than half those drugs did.
What is even more interesting is that they have little or no side effects! This week I will be discussing herbal medicine and reviewing most of the common food substances and natural herbs that are used commonly around the household but may not be known for their healing properties. I will give you the health benefits and any side effects that might apply for each natural herb or substance that I review. Tune in this week for some neat information!
