Every woman knows what a pain PMS and menstrual cramps are. Headaches, even migraines frequently go along with PMS and our menstrual cycles. Herbs that can help with PMS symptoms and menstrual disorders are St Johns Wort and Valerian Root with Passion Flower. Valerian and Passion flower work to relax tense muscles, there by reducing menstrual cramps which are caused by the uterus spasming out of control. Please refer to the recommended dosages or consult your medical professional to get the recommended amounts needed for these issues.

As with any alternative or complimentary medicine, if you have any chronic disease or illness, please consult your physician before trying herbs or essential oils. There can be some contraindications with certain medications.
